Visiting Hours
Family and friends are encouraged to visit and support their loved ones during their stay at Girard Medical Center. Visiting hours for hospitalized patients are:
Daily: 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
To help protect the health and safety of our patients, visitors are asked not to visit if they are experiencing symptoms of illness, including fever, cough, cold or flu symptoms, nausea, vomiting, or other contagious conditions. We also ask that you refrain from visiting if you believe you have recently been exposed to a communicable disease, such as measles, chickenpox, or other infectious illnesses.
Phones
In patient rooms, dial 8 for an outside line and local calls. Long distance calls may be made by dialing 8 for an outside line and then 0 for the operator. To call a patient direct, dial 620.724.5 + room number.

The Girard Medical Center Volunteer Gift Shop is conveniently located in the hospital’s main lobby and offers a variety of unique gifts, seasonal items, jewelry, watches, fresh-baked cookies, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and more.
Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Gift Shop is a welcoming stop for patients, families, visitors, and staff alike.
