Mindi S. Garner, DO, FACP, was born in Joplin, MO and grew up in Parsons, Kansas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Pittsburg State University, and medical school at Oklahoma State University, graduating with honors in 2000. She completed an Internal Medicine residency in Memphis, TN at the University of Tennessee in July 2003. She became board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in August 2003 and started a private practice clinic on December 1, 2003. In April, 2007, she was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Garner also created Premeds with Promise, Inc. in 2004. This program employs 19 Pittsburg State University premedicine students as medical assistants in preparation for medical school.

Dr. Garner is married to Kevan Schupbach of Farlington KS. In her spare time she enjoys marathon running and spending time with her family.
