Taka Kido, MD, FACS FICS is a Board-Certified General Surgeon specializing in laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and bariatric surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Kido completed his General Surgery residency at Northeast Ohio Medical University and advanced fellowship training in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, one of the nation's leading surgical training centers.

With more than two decades of surgical experience, Dr. Kido is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care using advanced surgical techniques that promote smaller incisions, reduced pain, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery.
