Our volunteers assist patients, visitors, and healthcare staff in many different ways throughout the medical center. Whether offering a friendly smile, helping visitors find their way, or supporting special events and programs, volunteers help enhance the patient experience every day.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Greeting and assisting patients and visitors
- Supporting hospital departments and staff
- Assisting with community events and outreach programs
- Helping with clerical or administrative tasks

Stop by the Gift Shop
Looking for a thoughtful gift, greeting card, snack, or something special for a loved one? The Girard Medical Center Volunteer Gift Shop is conveniently located in the hospital’s main lobby and offers a variety of unique gifts, seasonal items, jewelry, watches, fresh-baked cookies, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and more. Open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Gift Shop is a welcoming stop for patients, families, visitors, and staff alike.
