This portable device continuously records your heart's electrical activity over 24 to 48 hours or longer, if ordered by your provider to help identify irregular heart rhythms that may occur during your normal daily routine.
At Girard Medical Center, outpatient Holter monitoring offers a convenient, non-invasive way to evaluate symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, fainting, chest discomfort, or unexplained fatigue. Your results are reviewed by your provider to help guide the next steps in your care, keeping expert cardiac diagnostics close to home.
