Position Overview

Girard Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registration Clerk to join our team. This position plays an important role in supporting patients throughout the registration and billing process while helping ensure accurate and efficient administrative operations.

The Registration Clerk will be responsible for patient registration, data entry, mail distribution, prior authorizations, claim corrections, and other clerical duties as assigned. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide helpful, professional service when interacting with patients, families, staff, and others.

Key Responsibilities

• Registering patients and accurately entering patient information
• Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with prior authorizations
• Reviewing and assisting with claim corrections
• Distributing incoming mail and information as needed
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Completing additional clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
• EBe comfortable working with patient information and performing a variety of administrative tasks
• Work effectively as part of a healthcare team

Previous medical experience is preferred.
