Position Overview

Girard Medical Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to maintain and enhance the appearance and cleanliness of floors in our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with floor care equipment and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain floors using appropriate methods (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing)
Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, and auto scrubbers
Strip and refinish hard surface floors
Vacuum and shampoo carpets as needed
Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous floor care or custodial experience preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Ability to operate floor machines safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
