Why Foot Screenings Matter

For individuals with diabetes or pre-diabetes, the body’s natural healing process can be slowed. Circulation issues—such as peripheral arterial disease (PAD)—and elevated blood sugar levels can make it harder for wounds to heal properly.

Nerve damage, known as peripheral neuropathy, can also reduce or eliminate sensation in the feet. This means cuts, blisters, or sores may go unnoticed and untreated, increasing the risk of serious complications.

A simple foot screening can help detect:
